Tuesday, August 31, 2010	7:00pm	Tyler Towers Condominiums Clubhouse 1450 Plymouth Ln Elgin, IL 60123	Comprehensive Immigration Reform. An informational program for members regarding Comprehensive Immigration Reform and what role we can play in support of the national and state Leagues of Women Voters' positions on this issue. Royce Blackwell and Shirley Sadjadi, members of the Elgin Ad Hoc Committee for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, will talk about the current status of immigration reform legislation in Congress, personal examples of inequities in the current law, and strategies to show support for change.
Tuesday, September 14, 2010	7:00pm	Bartlett Community Center 700 S. Bartlett Road Bartlett, IL 60103	Candidate Night in Bartlett. To service our larger area, on September 14th at 7PM, we'll be hosting our first Candidate Night in Bartlett, at the Bartlett Community Center. The focus will be on education with candidates Pierog, Miller, Ramey, and Brownfield moderated by League Member Janelle Walker.

Thursday, September 16, 2010	6:00 - 8:30pm	Christ Community Church 37w100 Bolcum Road St. Charles, IL 60175	Elected Officials and Candidates Forum. Forum Topic: Issues Affecting People With Disabilities The Elgin Area League is a part of the coalition sponsoring the candidates' forum on September 16, 2010. Sunday, October 3, 2010	2:00pm	Gail Borden Public Library 270 N. Grove Elgin, IL 60120	IL State Representative Candidates Night. We'll be hosting the Illinois State Representative Candidates Night with candidates Farnham, Munson, Schmitz, and Barconi.
